Animals Vs. People

Vs. Match #11. The fight between man and animal is always going and it seems to never end. A person spots a bear and people feel the need to tell the cops when then kill the bear most of the time instead of capturing it and relocating it. And the same goes with many animals. We've become a paranoid society that can't live with nature. We kill the sharks so they won't eat us, we kill the wolves so they won't attack hikers, we kill all sorts of animals in the name of protecting ourselves. Hunting I can understand, but just killing cause' we're afraid of animals attacking leads to endangered animals. Could man and animal ever learn to live together in this day and age? As more and more skyscrapers get built and cities expand, cutting down trees everywhere we drive out the deer and other animals. And then we wonder why they wander into town... cause' the deer don't have anywhere else to go if there's no forest to hide in. And what will those ignorant hunters think if we ever got to a point where there were no animals to hunt due to low population numbers? As things become more cyberpunk, losely used definition, will we forget ourselves and give up on nature? Will we grow to be accustomed to no fish in the sea or no animals in the forest? And what of zoo's? I don't think progressing should mean killing nature. Like most animals, we won't change unless we feel we have to. But humans should be better than that. We should be smarter than that. What's next? Will we kill off chipmunks for investing our trees? Are animals now a bad thing to us? We treat animals now like we do punks. And people wonder why there's punk rockers!
