The Berzerker Breeds The Senseless

Versus Music #17. "The Senseless" are the brainchild of Sam Bean of "The Berzerker", the best industrial grind band ever. And now he's back with his own brand of mayhem. The record was produced by the singer of The Berzerker so you know it has their full support. I love grind and industrial grind is even better. This CD tries to break new ground that isn't covered with the band The Berzerker. Even though The Berzerker might be the best at what they do that doesn't mean they've covered all the possible ground in that new genre. There are so many directions that sort of music can go in. I, personally, love the lyrics to the songs too on this CD. The words to the song "Vacation" really do ring true to many people that desperately want to get out of the 9 to 5 rut. And it's those sort of people that find the strength to start something like this and make something of themselves by simply telling others how they feel. It's the most brutal stuff too, at times more brutal than The Berzerker, but that's quite a brutal act to follow. It's got elements of hard house beat music in it at times too that just add to the aural assault. I can't think of a better CD out now for a brutal cyberpunk looking for some serious industrial grind.
