I imagine we all wish there could be a quick fix for everything. But humans just aren't as resourceful as in the movies. Why is that? We make up so many things in movies for what's to come but when it hits us the reality is so much scarier because we don't have solutions to everything. 10 gallons of gas can cost $43.00 now and that's supposed to make us all want to buy a Hybrid to save the ozone. They should be fully electric really if you ask me. And of course you see the cars coming out now that run on water too. Or hydrogen. But will we be able to save our ozone? Stop global warming? Save the ocean's creatures? Save the dying species? Stop pollution? It's a toss up as far as I'm concerned. I'm not so sure we're gonna make it. They say if the temperature of the planet went up 6 degrees that we'd all burn up. At 1 degree higher it would be bad enough if it's true that the ocean sea life would die out. It's a fragile thing our planet is. Will we find a solution or will we get accustomed to a massive heat beating down on Earth and adapt somehow? That's the only real possible path if we don't find a solution, to become some sort of people that adapt to a strong heat. I don't mean physically of course, but we could create structures that could withstand such heat. People living on a planet of fire, so to speak, what an odd picture. The problem with humans is we really only do things when it benefits our economy or when we really need to. What sort of possible life could we hope to make by ignoring the situations at hand and trying to adapt? Can we adapt to something like a world full of pollution and heat? Possibly, but that's hard to imagine, even as we slowly head that way.
