Am I the only one that thinks "The Dark Knight" will make Heath Ledger as famous as Brandon Lee in "The Crow"? It's a sad thought but probably true. I think Heath died more like Elvis though if you ask me. He's a cool guy, he was dating the most highly paid supermodel, a very cute, young blonde model. And I heard they broke up a year before he died of an accidental sleeping pill overdose. I know he was really broken up about her leaving him so you never know, it may have been a suicide. I thought he was so cool, there weren't many actors you could compare him to at all, he was so original. The Dark Knight looks to be a re-make of the first Batman with Michael Keaton since "Batman Begins" was the prequel to this one. So can Heath Ledger live up to Jack Nicholson's portrayal of the Joker? I'm thinking Jack Nicholson was great in his own way, and a very great Joker, but Heath will be more diabolical, and he adds more darkness to the character if that was possible. You know there'll be posters hanging in "Hot Topic" everywhere when it comes out. And shirts. That smeared clown make-up adds to the creepiness of the character. Apparently he's one of those people that believes clowns should stay creepy. I'm glad they actually decided to release this movie, it was up for debate right after Heath Ledger's passing. And they even have it showing in IMAX theaters, a great commemoration of his achievement.
