This new Versus Girl is rather young but I like to go back and forth from older to younger actresses. Run the gamut. Actually, she used to be younger. Now she's all grown up and hot! Julianna Rose Mauriello is her name. A lot of young actresses get recognized in their youth and get a following. Even this girl. She's known for her character in a kid's show called "Lazy Town" with her pink hair when she was young. I hate the color pink but she made it look so adorable as a kid. Truth is they grow up quite quickly. By the time I heard of her she turned 20. I think she was about 18 in her first film. She's not from Iceland but the show she was on was from there. When you think about it Lazy Town is a funny name huh? I had no idea who this girl was so I had to watch an interview of her on the Tony Danza Show to figure it out. She was like 14 in that interview. She's so cheery and bouncy and smiley, but aren't all girls that age? Stay that way please. She's from the U.S. but she had to move to Iceland to film the show. And now she's got her sights on movies! So we may see more of her in the future. Actually, she has been in a movie, "A Fix". Sounds like a drug movie Julianna. She's grown up to be quite the head turner. You have to admit she's got one cute smile. She's what I would call a fresh, young star waiting to blossom. Her desire is to enter movies. Please do! Indie movies are o.k. but we wanna see more. Hopefully she transitions well and keeps her appeal. It's like Emma Watson; is she gonna have the same appeal now that she's not that 16 year old in "Harry Potter"? Maybe, but we all love her for her youth too. I must say I can't really recognize her in this runway pic at the "Despicable Me" premiere. If that is her she's totally hot now! I think she reminds me a lot of Saoirse Ronan at 14 too. They look a lot alike if you look at the pics of her at the same age.. Take a nod from the Olsen Twins; they were so cute when they were younger but by 18 they were anorexic and nobody ever saw them in movies since. So is it so bad to notice a cute actress? Naw. We like the fact that they've got a bright future and teen years are the cutest. The Lazy Town show was good for her youth but with a name like that it makes you wonder if kids will get lazy, lol! She's sort of a "off the radar" kinda chick so far. Get in more movies girl. I wonder if she's like Emma Watson in one regard, willing to do nude scenes?! Well... I had to ask.
