I was watching wrestling the other day on TNA and it honestly scared me for the first time ever, and I've been watching wrestling for years. It keeps getting more and more violent doesn't it? The worst I've seen has got to be what that "3-D" group did to A.J. Styles, ganging up on him and beating him to a bloody pulp. I thought he was gonna die or something. And then they got Awesome Kong doing some really violent looking power bombs. Is it just me or are those movies about the future of sports being death sports somewhat in grasp? I can see now how easy it could be for people to regress into animals in a future that possibly didn't go right. And with the way things usually work, they keep upping the ante more and more, it's the way of things. So what will the future hold? I can't imagine it getting any worse than that but I'm sure it could. And then one has to wonder if it's really a sport anymore. They think people watch for the drama, but it gets to be addictive to need to push things further and further. I get tired of seeing those matches interferred with by people like the way Nash was fighting Booker T and lost due to Samoa Joe interferring. Nash should've won that match for sure. If this is a sign of things to come then I think the underground fighting scene makes a little sense, in the real underground they use weapons and it's very sickening. Why can't they just wrestle? it's supposed to be wrestling. But I still watch it.
