Is anything sacred anymore? I mean growing a human ear on a mouse's back is far out. I can't even fathom how that's possible but if it is, and it is apparently, then that basically tells us we can do damn near anything. It sounds like the beginnings of "Resident Evil" almost. What on Earth would be the purpose of doing such a thing? In a way I'm sure it's cutting costs for college students that are learning to do genetic manipulation but it is kind of a horror show. Suddenly everything I see in movies starts to seem all the more real. I don't know how to feel about that. What's next? A super soldier? That's actually a bad idea cause' they always go rogue in the movies. Man keeps making things that we don't know how to dispose of. On the other hand maybe this will lead to something I heard about once, the possibility of humans that could regrow their own limbs! I know of a lizard that can do that. Lobsters can do that too, betcha didn't know that! So in theory it is possible that humans could develop this ability. I still wonder why cockroaches are able to survive for 3 days if decapitated? What's the purpose of a head that could live for 3 days? Or a body? It's almost as if they're supposed to find each other. That's a creepy evolution idea. They would be unstoppable if that were possible. I don't know where all this science is leading but I think the real enemies are the evil corporations. Not all are bad but every cyberpunk knows they're the worst of the lot. If we can grow a human ear on a mouse's back then why can't we find a way to make our blood resistant to certain diseases just like animals? I'm sure we could eventually. You can give me credit for that. I imagine a circus in the future being full of purposefully made genetic freaks. That's evolution for ya.
