I was reflecting on H.R. Giger's alien design in the movie "Alien". It was much more than a regular alien. It was made with great detail to an environment changed to suit the needs of the creature. This creature was very much alive but able to withstand even the most harsh environments. How is that? It seems the creature also had acid for blood. That must mean only one thing that might not be clear to some. It was a hybrid. A new kind of cyborg, but way beyond the cyborg. Simply put, a living machine. An organic machine. Basically, it was an animal but it's DNA was much like both machine and animal. That's why the acid didn't burn through. It's skin is some hybrid organic metal/flesh mix that can withstand the acid. This is the sort of stuff that nightmares are made of. An animal like that could thrive in any conditions, meaning its a serious threat. From what I was able to tell too it seemed to not really have any need for food of any kind. Like a perpetual, organic, machine-like animal with no battery needed. There's no way to cut off its food source if that were the truth. Yet it can respawn. If human blood is its food source then it would change the blood into something acidic. Can imagine a creature with a thirst for blood but no need for it? That is frightening. A creature that could withstand severe heat or freezing temperatures. No need to sleep. It's what H.R. Giger envisioned, a real nightmare!
