Subnet Universes

CAPTURED by DEATHZ HEAD A.K.A. THE CHILLER on Monday, May 31, 2010 at 11:21 PM

Some plans for the future of the internet are already on way. I bet just that concept alone is blowing people's minds. It is a real brain drain to figure out what that means so I thought I'd delve into that myself. Or rather, come up with my own theory. First, I'll tell you what I've heard. It's really vague though so don't know how clear this will be. I've heard about how there might be internet universes someday. Before this though, I was thinking about how the internet could have subnet universes. We've heard of subnets before but they don't really serve much purpose except to manage things. Sometimes hackers use them to have private chats also. I was thinking more along the lines of a totally separate internet hidden from the other, a real subnet! You never know what could happen. This is where animes come up with some far out stuff to picture for us what it all might be like. Of course animes get really insane but who's to say that we shouldn't be slightly paranoid. That is the whole reason we're cyberpunks after all. Some of us might see something that others don't. Since everything is going towards technology taking over it makes sense that cyberpunk fears could be onto something possibly so keep an open mind. Is the internet the new T.V.? Another form of mind control? Consumerism on a grander scale? And if so, is that really a bad thing? I mean I do like shopping online. Learning the difference between harmless consumerism and population control conspiracy theories is what drives cyberpunks. I don't think you have to hate technology though. I don't think consumerism is a bad thing either. It's just that you never know what's really going on behind the stage.

The Many Cancelled Gems

CAPTURED by DEATHZ HEAD A.K.A. THE CHILLER on Sunday, May 30, 2010 at 10:11 PM

There sure have been a lot of cancelled shows lately. I little too many. It even started to happen before the recession. More importantly is how the recession has affected all this. Things sure have been worse since that all started. We have cancelled show after cancelled show popping up and many of them are really good shows that should do better. It just seems like there aren't as many people watching T.V. now anymore. I mean why on Earth would all these shows get bad ratings? There's no excuse for that so in my book it has to be the recession's fault. Yet, nobody can figure out why this is happening. Am I onto some secret information? I've got a few pictured here but there are more. And lately, with "Happy Town" being cancelled after 3 shows, you have to ask yourself how bad are things? I can understand waiting a season to see if people like a show but 3 shows? No way! That won't tell you anything. Even one season would be a horrible let down. The whole idea of starting shows and not finishing them completely ruins the worth of these shows in the video store. Nobody wants to buy a partial series. They would make more money by finishing the series' and letting people buy up the DVD's. If you have to wait 2 or 3 shows to decide if you should back out then something is really, desperately wrong. Meanwhile, shows like "24" go on for like 8 seasons because they're not on major channels like ABC that worry about ratings. I'm surprised that they stuck it out for "LOST". This fickle nature of the T.V. industry is ruining the programming. Then we see commercials for 2 new series' coming out soon, "The Gates" & "Scoundrels". Would anyone be surprised if these shows don't last? Only due to current events, I'd say no. How many can you name? Let's see... "Journey Man", "Happy Town", "Dresden Files", "Firefly", "Eli Stone", "Eastwick", and many more.

Wives Of The Apocalypse

CAPTURED by DEATHZ HEAD A.K.A. THE CHILLER on Saturday, May 29, 2010 at 10:35 PM

It's been known for sometime that I have this fascination with nuns. Don't ask. I just think the purity is a turn-on to a badboy like me, haha. I still haven't met a nun yet, but I hope to someday! Preferrably like my fave nun Megan Fox! I have a couple others here of latex clad nuns, one a vampire. Nuns make for really good vampires I've noticed. In movies that is. Not many, but they are out there. So I came across this site called newprophecy.net and they had this prophecy of what could happen after the rapture. You see if that really did happen then they say only those worthy vanish up to Heaven while the rest of us would stay on Earth. That would be the worst place to be after a rapture if you know why. First of all, nobody would believe in God anymore so you're talking massive riots. Then murders. Inquisitions of Christians, and yes, even nuns! It makes sense too. Just like the Salem witch trials nuns would be tied up and burned for their faith in God. They are a symbol of purity, but that's also why they make such a great fantasy. The latex nun look is more of a symbol of corruption and lust. I totally understand that fantasy too. The chaste "wives" of the lord, if you want to call them that, would become the sex slaves of the devil Satan if you reversed their image. Personally, I think the ones that wait the longest could have the easiest time falling from grace. So if they weren't burned then what would happen? That's what I've been pondering. I'd bet they all become love slaves during a rapture. Of course a rapture wouldn't be good for anyone else either. So what does that picture of the apocalypse mean? Is Hell on Earth? I don't think so. The ones left behind are just the forgotten. I don't know what to think of the idea of an apocalypse but many things do make you wonder if it's possible. Several images in the Bible have come true, all due to globalization, pollution, and global warming. In Hell, the nuns would be more like the one in the mask here. The punishers. Some say Hell is ignorant bliss as well. That would mean the devil would let you live out your fantasies as long as you stay corrupted. Hard to say but I know I wouldn't want to be one of the left behind. Maybe. Dunno really. And the allure of the nun goes on.

The Body Scanner

CAPTURED by DEATHZ HEAD A.K.A. THE CHILLER on at 1:13 AM

Every now and then I think I'm onto something. Maybe I am, maybe I'm not. Who knows. I was thinking about identification methods. Currently, we use ID cards and someday that might move up to ID cards that can be used as debit cards. You know in more populous countries like China they're trying out newer technology because they have more people. In bigger populations you have to adapt quicker. They must have all sortsa cool stuff we don't have yet. Now we have scanners at the airport that scan your nude body much like in "Total Recall". Soon I imagine we'll have skeletons so people don't feel violated, haha. Then comes the card that can be used for everything so you don't need more than one card. Your whole life will be on one card so don't lose it! I imagine after that they'll move to something like embedding something in your hands. They'll just scan your hands and know everything about you. They'll be able to track you too. In that sort of world you really would need to tear out your ID tracker to get off the grid so to speak, that is if you plan on running from the law. Somehow this just makes me think we're getting too dependent on technology and electricity. It's our crutch and our strength. In the end though, I think the only reason for all this advancing technology is the growing population. We wouldn't be trying so hard to advance if it weren't for this fact. With bigger populations you need things, like better security. So the big brother idea is our own doing. Will it happen?

Aren't We All Cyborgs

CAPTURED by DEATHZ HEAD A.K.A. THE CHILLER on Thursday, May 27, 2010 at 11:45 PM

Sometimes I have to get into other more offbeat films to keep myself learning about everything else out there. This movie "I'm A Cyborg, But That's O.K." by Park Chan-Wook is cool to me. He also happens to be the guy that made "Oldboy", one of my favorite films. It's got a real "Benny & Joon" kinda feel but South Korean style. The main guy is played by Rain, a star that was also in the recent "Ninja Assassin". He was a singer before this, but now he's got more muscle for the role of a ninja. In this movie you probably won't even recognize him. This plot is so wild. The main girl thinks she's a cyborg and the guy thinks he's a super hero. He tries to help her so she doesn't accidentally kill herself by making her think food will recharge her battery. In return, she wants him to take away her sympathy so she can kill the people that imprisoned her crazy grandmother that thinks she's a mouse. In the end the girl thinks she can go into a storm and get hit by lightning in order to detonate a bomb inside her and destroy the world but the guy makes sure this doesn't happen. It really is a quirky love story at heart. I like the way it's much more far out than Benny & Joon ever could be. I think it's a movie about people wanting to believe that they're more special than they are to feel like they're worth something. People want to feel like they've accomplished something in their lives, even the crazy ones. Anyways, I won't tell you how it ends. Check it out. I like this style of movies too.

Raiden Is The Ultimate Weapon

Versus Game #53. O.K. so I'm a diehard PS3 fan but I love "Raiden" and the new one, "Raiden IV" is now on the Xbox 360. I have an Xbox 360 too so all bases coverd. This game was so hard back in the day. I don't think it got any easier either, haha. It's probably sheer luck if you ever beat this whole entire game in your lifetime. That of course is why we like it. It's so hard to finish that this would provide more of a challenge than most games out there. The replayability is awesome too. I love those games back when end bosses were gigantic and numerous. The story behind this game is that the aircraft is supposed to be the greatest weapon ever devised. So, unlike current jets, this is supposed to be the bottom line, the ultimate weapon. It's not really a jet as much as it is a powerful laser weapon with flying ability. This baby can hover too so it could literally go anywhere and take out anything. It's the ultimate portable weapon. You could imagine this thing in a movie wiping out tanks like they're nothing. Somebody should make an anime of this game someday. It's funny to try in the arcade since it takes your quarters. You could really be there all day so a home version works. On a scale of cyberpunkness I'd say this is about a 10!

Rocket II Faster Than Hell

CAPTURED by DEATHZ HEAD A.K.A. THE CHILLER on Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at 11:12 PM

This is the coolest thing I've seen in a long time. The "Frogman Rocket II" trike. This thing can push out 1,000 hp and go up to around 240mph! In a video on the internet you can see this man go 200mph and the sound of the bike at those speeds is so awesome. The reason it goes so fast is because it's obviously modeled after an alcohol funny car. I'd say this is a bit more high tech though. Truthfully, it's quite impressive indeed. The thing actually steers and turns so it's not just for show. Of course I'm not sure what's street legal since I was able to see a video of this car driving on the highway. Apparently the driver can get away with it. When I look at this bike it makes me think of the "Munsters" or "Rob Zombie". Ironically, this makes me think of some futuristic animes I've seen with flying jet cycles. This is exactly how that all starts. I bet a floating jet cycle could go even faster. For now, this is a dream come true. It's the last of the gasoline powered monsters since the hybrids are taking over. They even got electric cars racing against gasoline powered hotrods now days and winning. Things will keep changing but this bike will always be the coolest thing out there. The cops probably don't even try to chase him.

Bloody Mary Calls You

CAPTURED by DEATHZ HEAD A.K.A. THE CHILLER on at 5:30 AM

I love stuff like this. "Reflections Of Fear" is a horror theme park in Universal Studios when Halloween comes around. At first I thought this should be year round but it does make sense to have it at Halloween. There are year round Halloween horror houses but not in Universal Studios, Orlando. The main picture has "Bloody Mary" in it, a horror movie character. If you haven't heard of it then you better watch it. It's one of the most well known urban legends. The cool thing about this for Halloween is they can do effects unlike anything else. When I was a kid I remember a haunted house with ghosts in it and it looked real. And that was a long time ago. Things have got better since then technology wise and I imagine they can do a lot. And if you can't seem to get a job then maybe you could get hired to scare people at this event. They have people wearing monster costumes. The cool thing about this idea is since it's yearly you know they're preparing for the next year right after one ends. So they must be making a new one with movies that have come out in the last year, very cool idea! Each year would be a different experience basically, and that's worth your money every year. If that's not scary enough for you they have a new "Saw" themed roller coaster!

LOST Explained

CAPTURED by DEATHZ HEAD A.K.A. THE CHILLER on Sunday, May 23, 2010 at 11:40 PM

Glimpsing back at "LOST" and how it really did last 6 years (6 seasons) I think back to my predictions. I had predicted that the reason for all the madness was simply that they had all died in the plane crash. That may not be the truth but it's how I perceived it. So the electro-magnetic forces kept their lifeforces alive to wander. Their being able to be in the real world living out new lives could have worked, but instead they chose to remember a life already lived and choose that one as their reality, accepting that this means they were in effect dead for all intensive purposes. They may not have been alive like you and I know it but the electro-magnetic forces on the island gave them the ability to allow their lifeforces to stabilize their radiation in order to live as so-called "real" people in the world. By radiation I simply mean their bodies would stay intact. Sorta like in an episode of "Fringe" where the radiation sapped from a body made it disintegrate. You could say they died but the energy in their bodies was able to live on due to the properties of the island and recompose their structure in a different sort of way. In the real world nobody would be able to tell they weren't real. So the others that ran the project to keep people alive in a life of their own making were trying to prolong life after death. It's an amazing idea that uses science way over most normal people's heads. There's much we don't understand about electro-magnetic forces but in the end it all makes sense. The smoke monster was sort of the same thing but in a different way. His exposure level to the radioactive electro-magnetism had a more profound effect on him. So everything they experienced was real. Some of them may have died twice. I'm guessing their bodies would vaporize at the end of the series after choosing their former lives as reality. The science behind electro-magnetism makes it all possible. And their physical bodies recomposed would simply mean the radiation was able to keep their structure intact even though it wasn't their original bodies. They would be able to get hurt, kill, die, love, and everything else... and maybe even live till old age or longer... but they chose to remember instead of start over. Maybe they were dead already but they could have lived in those new physical bodies if they wanted to. Since radiation is what keeps our bodies together then it makes sense that it could possibly create 2 realities after an atomic bomb went off! This moment proves that they all died. Although clues gave away that they were dead already earlier than that even. Some died in the crash while others died later, and yet others died in the explosion. Or maybe the radioactive element in the island kept them alive and split their personas in two to create their alternate reality where they never reached the island. Since Juliet said that the plan with the bomb worked! Or maybe it killed them all and the island but the radioactive element kept it all there as if it never happened. So they may have died more than once indeed. What I get from it is they could have lived out their lives even after knowing the truth but they chose not to. I've heard a purgatory theory, which I like, but I think the truth is with two realities they had created their own purgatory, not that it was meant to be one. One in which they're trying to escape, and the other where they live a perfect life. In the end I don't believe there was any real supernatural connection. It was all science. It even explains Jacob's living forever. Electro-magnetism has been known to affect time as well. The bomb is the key to all this. That's what fractured their realities by causing a massive electro-magnetic catastrophe. So it seems the constant, Desmond, was able to get them to remember who they were before Locke could get off the island and destroy them. They saved their second reality by saving themselves from Locke in their other reality. This being a tad more clear with the wound showing up on Jack's neck as he got it on the island, nice touch. And the rest is just the path they chose to end. While the others would live on in new copies of themselves. That's my rundown.

Has anyone been wondering about the outcome of so many movies from the 60's, 70's, and 80's? Many were released on VHS, which as you all know is a dying art form. So now the race is on to get those movies to DVD. That's easier said than done. Many movies are already lost and many more will be lost with time. Some online stores sell hard to find movies on DVD and I think this should be a serious option, not just to rescue films that film companies want to abandon. That is a shock to me in a way that we'd be so wasteful as to leave behind all the movies of the past and forget them. They want to just move on with new movies to make a profit. Why can't they just put all the movies ever made into a big library? To forget your past is to not realize who you are. Soon many shows and movies from the 90's and 2000's will be hard to find too. That's a real shock to me. It's like they just don't care about anything. Just corporations wanting to make a buck. And some day I predict even DVD's will become obsolete, meaning you might have to back up all those DVD's to Blu-Ray eventually. Will films of the past be gone forever? I wonder how long this will go on. Something should be done about it. Start collecting your favorites now!

VERSUS GIRL #57 - Keena Da Robo Babe

CAPTURED by DEATHZ HEAD A.K.A. THE CHILLER on Friday, May 21, 2010 at 10:50 PM

Scream Queen #8. This new Versus Girl is hella hot. You might recognize Monica Keena from "Freddy Vs. Jason" as the girl with a great figure. Trust me you'll figure out which one is her. There's been a lot of gossip on the web about her possibly getting plastic surgery. I don't think there's any way of knowing though. Honestly, she's 30 so she won't look exactly the same as that cute girl in "Dawson's Creek" that I've never heard of till now, lol. And she's always had rather large breasts so I don't know what to say about that. These latest pictures where they say she had a nightmare surgery make me think she's hot truthfully. She looks smokin' in that little Nike shirt and cute smile. I'd say her body's all natural. The Nike shirt picks were of her appearing at the Robot Chicken Skate Bus Party Tour presented by Adult Swim in Hollywood. She was 30 in those 2 pics. The others are from Freddy Vs. Jason days around 24. They always try to say the girls are pouting or something like that. If you ask me she looks really good for her age no matter what. So she's done other movies but her horror outing made her a household name. She'll be doing a remake of "Night Of The Demons" with Shannon Elizabeth (also big, natural breasts) and Edward Furlong (Eddie). I wonder how she lucked out with Freddy Vs. Jason? Oh that's right, Hollywood likes to corrupt the nice, innocent youth much like how they took Jessica Biel from "7th Heaven" and put her in "Texas Chainsaw Massacre". Her other movies might be of interest to fans of hers. I'll be a fan of hers despite the rumors. Lord knows there are rumors going around about me that aren't true. You can't follow the bandwagon like a follower. I'd say this girl is a mighty worthy edition to our list of Earthly delights. She's a bonafide robo babe in need of a robo chicken!

We All Want An Avatar

CAPTURED by DEATHZ HEAD A.K.A. THE CHILLER on at 10:50 PM

Versus Movie #83. Finally, the Versus Cyberpunk Horrors "Avatar" review. I've been thinking about this one for a while. This movie is the type of adventure film that we all like to take a break from the science fiction, horror, thriller, drama, action genres. I've always liked the idea of a good sci-fi adventure but there aren't many around. This was made by the same director that made "Alien" so you he's done the alien thriller type of movie before. James Cameron wanted to do a film like this a long time ago but it would've cost too much. These days he's earned the right to make such a big budget film and it payed off bigtime. The idea is great really, with the avatars being used like puppets. And Sigourney Weaver was even in this movie, classic touch. I think art does indeed mimick life a lot of the time because the actions taken in this film to obtain a precious metal we realistic. You could totally imagine the military doing that. Sad as that is though, to destroy an alien planet for a mining operation. It brings up issues we don't deal with today but someday we will when humans inhabit more than one planet due to over population. You can bet new species of humans would start popping up. These humanoids were quite different though. Their stature was amazing, like 10 feet tall or so. And with this stature came ultimate health and muscle tone as a biproduct of carbon fiber covered bones, naturally occuring, and a superior hormonal profile. In essence, they would never have to work out to stay in awesome shape. That makes me jealous in a way. It makes you realize what we could be. Their bones could withstand bullets. It really would be like the ultimate human, if only you didn't have to be that tall. The planet itself was like a giant brain that could control the plant and animal life. So if you ask me I love the concept behind it all. You could feel the psychic energy present on this planet. It's a sci-fi action adventure movie at heart. If I were that character in that movie I'd probably want to switch to that super body too. What a choice, a wheelchair or super strength? I loved all the design work too. The creatures really made the movie. The hostile planet that looks so beautiful. It made my imagination race with designs for aliens. I'd watch it with friends for full effect.

Underground Mad Scientists

CAPTURED by DEATHZ HEAD A.K.A. THE CHILLER on at 10:50 PM

Fantasy is always ahead of the times it seems. It really makes you wonder if anyone is ever doing insane experiments. In this cool picture there seems to be two mutants growing in thick glass cylinders deep below the Earth in an abandoned cave structure. Sounds like the makings of a cool video game I played once. It amazes me how many things we come up with but in reality we don't have many mad scientists. If we did then would we ever hear about the incidents? Would the F.B.I. have to create a real fringe division? I wonder if they have one now, ya think? That's a good question really. Does the government even have that division already? It wouldn't surprise me but they might be inclined to keep it a secret. You probably wouldn't ever hear about such divisions except in T.V. land. So we'll never know what's real. I'm willing to bet many things happen without our knowledge but our government is really good at keeping things hush hush. We do live in the dawn of the mutant age so maybe in the future we'll have human mutants showing up just like in "X-Men". Of course you wouldn't hear about that either. I just figure if the human mind could actually do something like pyrokinesis for example then it'd be the biggest secret. Then they would hire the mutants to work on a task force for the government, much like "Hellboy". Thus keeping the spiral of secrecy going. Let's hope there aren't many mad scientists around. Although, in some way it would be cool.

Our Servants Seek To Replace Us

CAPTURED by DEATHZ HEAD A.K.A. THE CHILLER on Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at 8:46 PM

Read a story once about how actors in Hollywood were actually zombies that got reused and reused till they were falling apart. So then I started thinking what if they were cyborgs instead of zombies? It's true that cyborg technologies are being made now days without our knowledge. What if that technology was more advanced than we ever thought already and they were keeping it a secret from us? What if they were replacing particular prominent figures with cyborg look-alikes? We would never know honestly. That's the most frightening part about it. That's the sort of idea that makes for a good conspiracy since the heart of most conspiracies is the fact that we'd never even sense it coming. This is why people fear conspiracies so much. It's like the big brother idea, or hidden societies. That's the very root of what makes cyberpunk what it is. Someday they may live right among us as that technology becomes more popular. At first it may be in the form of servant cyborgs. Then the dawn of the sex-borg. Then people may start losing their jobs. Except we might never know they got fired if they were replaced! I wonder if someday humans will try to replace their own kind. At what cost? Would they feel a full spectrum of emotions? Would they fight or start wars? Would they work jobs? Would they get sick? Would they feel love? Would they know fear of extinction?
