Hunting The Hunters

CAPTURED by DEATHZ HEAD A.K.A. THE CHILLER on Thursday, January 19, 2012 at 8:51 PM

This movie "Mindhunters" was cool and it was straight-to-video. The FBI are good profilers but what if they were up against their own? That could prove taxing. In this movie that's exactly what happens. A group of new profiler recruits are sent to train for a mission when something goes wrong and they're stuck in the middle of nowhere with a psycho that's obsessed with time and clocks. When the time runs out a trap is set, or rather, set off. This movie did a good job of creating tension and suspense. You won't find a lot of high octane action but nobody expects that from a movie like this so you still end up feeling satisfied in the end. The cast was pretty cool: Christian Slater, Val Kilmer, LL Cool J, Jonny Lee Miller, Clifton Collins Jr., and more. Very nice cast indeed for an unknown. This just goes to show you that not all movies have to be theater caliber to be deemed worthy of watching. Sometimes a good script is enough for a more well known actor to take on something, while the lesser knowns get more notoriety for starring next to big movie stars. I won't tell you who the killer was but I can tell you that the guy has a screw loose. I was trying to guess who it was the whole time. Good movies keep you guesssing. The name must refer to setting up smart people.
