"Sequel Science" episode 28! I'm sure many have seen "Indiana Jones And The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull" but you won't find a review like mine anywhere. "Sequel Science" episode 28! I'm sure many have seen "Indiana Jones And The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull" but you won't find a review like mine anywhere. Now, for starters, I bet nobody thought there would be another any time soon but what a great way for Harrison Ford to come back riding on the fame of his previous movies. He knew he had an audience so the question is just if you want to go back into film. And he did. Now this one has him playing a father. His son, who he doesn't know, comes to him and has an offer he can't refuse. He doesn't tell him anything about being his son but Indiana Jones loves a good adventure. All we know is his old friend disappeared looking for a treasure. A crystal skull of some kind. This plays with the idea of the crystal skull found in reality shaped like a human skull. In this one it has an elongated shape but it is based on the same skull. The real legend goes that no mortal could craft the human shaped crystal skull without using a laser because it's that good. Which leads to all those shows we see on t.v. about aliens. And in this movie the skull has an alien shape to it. Good thinking on their part, taking from real archeological finds of mystery. Indiana was always one for conquest and glory before riches and fame. No exception here either. I get a bit frustrated thinking about how they never seem too interested in treasure because is that really how someone would be? I know I'd take some of it with me. It's human nature. But Indiana is more about virtue and honor by replacing the crystal skull where it belongs so that the aliens can live freely again. The idea of a collective mind in one being is very interesting too. I've heard about theories on how information can be collected in crystals like a hard drive. A skull made of pure crystal, mind and all, could hold information just like a real mind. It's sounds so futuristic, like something out of "Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure" in a future where everyone sits on crystal thrones and worships rock 'n roll. I really, really wish they got treasure and became rich but in the end the real treasure is revealed. I know it's a lesson in life but treasure hunters should get rich I say. Anyways, this is a great sequel! We've seen many things in these movies including: monkey brains, insects, snakes, cannibals, and much more, but never aliens!

Guest Commentator BONE COLLECTOR says: "Oh yeah I know those aliens. We go way back. Millions of years back. Good friends of mine!"
