Fresh off the tracks of other movies is this one that may have gone somewhat unnoticed, "The Unknown". The name really doesn't give much away so you're left wondering. It's a movie about the supernatural events that we can't explain out there. This blogger writes about these unexplainable events and each chapter of the movie is a different story. I thought they'd be more like unexplainable events of the "X-Files" variety but they were definitely like ghosts and stuff. It was definitely not quite what I thought it would be like but it was entertaining. There were some really gory parts that shocked me like the story about the guy with blood everyone loved to drink. The one about the witches eating kids was wild. And then there's the one about a hacker that turns people into ghosts, which I found scary and kinda morose. Overall, I'd say it's a nice return to anthology horror and if you're a bloody horror fan then this will do the job, although it was unexpected. Unexpected but not unwelcome. The hacker gets a hold of the blogger in the end to confess his crimes, which are really kinda sick. This hacker seemed to really get off on depressing people. He didn't get his glory moment though. It's a really weird, strange mix of ideas but I'd say they went well together. You got witches, tasty blood, hackers, and all kinds of bizarre stuff. It's a good one for a rainy day. I like anthologies. What do you believe in?
