Mad Science Is Still Mad

I'm kind of surprised there aren't more mad scientists out there. Maybe there have been cases of bizarre things that could not be explained but it would never make the news. Mad scientists are the ones that know you can do some monstrous things with science if you really wanted to. When it comes to what you could do if you were bad there are many things one could imagine. We see it everywhere in movies and t.v. shows. Science can be scary. The things we imagine only help us prepare for what's possible but part of me wonders if we're also giving someone ideas. Someone may even be reading this...

I'm kind of surprised there aren't more mad scientists out there. Maybe there have been cases of bizarre things that could not be explained but it would never make the news. Mad scientists are the ones that know you can do some monstrous things with science if you really wanted to. When it comes to what you could do if you were bad there are many things one could imagine. We see it everywhere in movies and t.v. shows. Science can be scary. The things we imagine only help us prepare for what's possible but part of me wonders if we're also giving someone ideas. Someone may even be reading this blog and getting ideas, like my excellent EMP turning people into zombies idea! Thank you thank you. The mad scientists are out there but now they work for corporations. They do the dirty work of evil corporations that know corporate laws supersede the laws that govern the rest of us. There may be a few mad scientists roaming around out there but most of them probably are helping a greater evil. I like to imagine the ones on an island somewhere making monsters in the jungle. Even video games have ideas like this. It's a shock to think we don't ever hear of any psycho scientists in the news but they would never cover something like that. I don't trust corporations. In shows like "Lost" you have the secluded island scientists creating a way to prolong life after death with a strong electromagnetic field. In "Fringe" you have people creating monsters and weird things. In "Resident Evil" madness has totally gone corporate. That way nobody calls it mad ironically. But mad is mad if you ask me. Zombies are very mad science. It could be a lot worse though. If you can imagine it then it's possible. Smart people tend to out-think themselves into madness. What if people were abducted for experiments by one?!
