I've been trying to figure out how these magicians do what they do for a while now. It's not so much important whether they really make a car disappear or not so much as the fact that you believed it. All you saw was a car disappearing so it worked for all intensive purposes. Criss Angel is like the new David Copperfield and he's got some cool, modern fashion sense. Sort of a mix between Dave Navarro, Rob Zombie, and one of those guys from "Good Charlotte". I like self made, designer duds. It's the punk thing to do! The illusions that he performs are amazing and that's all that matters in the end. If he can make a building disappear and you believe what you see then it doesn't matter if it didn't actually move. A magician can also be called an illusionist for this reason. To be a real magician would be blurring the line between fiction and reality. Illusionists are good at what they do and daring at that. He also does a lot of stunts, which others don't do, so that was a nice change of pace. I like daredevils and you never see that anymore. His dark vibe might remind you of the vampire hunter in the remake of "Fright Night". Do you think he knows any real magic? It is my belief that magic was rooted in combat. If you ever watched "The Cape" then you know what I mean. If you were a skilled fighter and also knew magic you'd be dangerous. Criss Angel will be one of the greats for sure. Good for him for going down in history. Can you trust a magician? Better hope he's on your side.
