The end times is something that we all imagine but hope doesn't happen.
It's a fear that we all share in uncertain times where natural disasters
get worse and worse and overpopulation grows greater. Global warming is
on the rise. Different types of violence are up. So how will all this
end? I think it's easier for people to imagine giving up than it is to
imagine things...
The end times is something that we all imagine but hope doesn't happen. It's a fear that we all share in uncertain times where natural disasters get worse and worse and overpopulation grows greater. Global warming is on the rise. Different types of violence are up. So how will all this end? I think it's easier for people to imagine giving up than it is to imagine things working out. This goes back further to other roots. People struggling to make ends meet can feel it easier to just fail than to persevere and triumph. As a whole we imagine the end in so many different ways through movies and books yet we hope none of it happens. What's the point of it all? Are we just preparing ourselves for something? Are we driving ourselves mad? Maybe we're able to see different futures and it's up to us to decide which one to take. Maybe we're more psychic than people like to think. The thing is we don't recognize it as being psychic. And just because you can tell the future it doesn't mean that would happen. We could choose a different path. And if things do end someday what on Earth would cause that given our intelligence? Some think our intelligence is what could do us in with grandiose ideas and human nature. Maybe the monkeys had it good and now we're gonna doom ourselves. Who knows but if things did end what would be left behind? Would the world just die or would new species come forth? I think there would be new species of creatures after enough time. It would take a really, really long time at that but it would happen eventually. The life cycle never really dies. Maybe that's the point. Humanity would start over, like a parallel universe.
