Isn't it funny how all those 80's movie stars are coming back in sci-fi movies? What's that a sign of? Is it just a cool trend or is it a sign of their careers dwindling? I'd like to think that actors and actresses could be in demand at any age so I'm confused with the whole sci-fi trend. Maybe it's just getting them seen and that could lead to something else, but so many of them is funny. You know what it is? I think there needs to be more ways to get a movie seen besides the big film companies. Nobody will make their own movie because they're always trying to get the big companies to fund their projects and film them and even distribute them. In most cases big companies have the draw of wanting mass distribution. So what if you don't want to go through those channels? What chance do you have of getting into a massive amount of theaters? Is it rigged so you have to go through those channels? You know they probably only allow so many movies to get made per year so the ones that get the go to put them in the theaters are the big wigs. This might change someday, or it should. And who decides when you're too old for good parts? That kind of typecasting is ridiculous to me. Even script writers get that treatment, as if someone that's older would write a more old fashioned style script? I would just say if a script is good then it's good, period. You don't see an age or face when you read a script after all. Maybe all these 80's stars did these sci-fi movies because they're well off now and it's all just fun for them. I dunno. I'm more interested in finding a way to get an independent movie seen by millions. If one is well made and top notch quality why not put it out yourself? Yet there's no way to do so. So you end up trying to get the green light from these companies and it makes it all feel like that's the only way to get out there. I'd like to see something develop here. Seen here is a picture from a shirt with the truck from "Maximum Overdrive". Killer movie that should get remade I say.

Guest Commentator CHROMESHINE says: "Oh I love this movie. The humans think inanimate objects can't fight back, hahahaha! Wait and see!"
