I wrote about this once but I got a more thorough review this time. I'm gonna review this movie 'cause nobody else is. Even if they have it was a long time ago. "Ballistic: Ecks Vs. Sever" is the film. I hate to say it but it didn't do so well at the box office, but I loved...

I wrote about this once but I got a more thorough review this time. I'm gonna review this movie 'cause nobody else is. Even if they have it was a long time ago. "Ballistic: Ecks Vs. Sever" is the film. I hate to say it but it didn't do so well at the box office, but I loved it. I actually thought it had loads of action and didn't understand the lack of appeal. It could have been a lot of things though. Maybe the music was so-so or maybe the plot was thin. I could care less if it has a thin plot as long as it works for me. I mean, for example, a movie like "Terminator 3: Rise Of The Machines" was non stop action for the whole film. You don't hear anyone complaining about the lack of depth in character development though. It was cool to me with two professional government killers facing off against each other. They had some serious firepower in this movie. Another thing that could have beaten it down is simply whatever movie competition there was at the time. Sometimes the circumstances leave these movies high and dry when they could have done better. I don't know but I don't watch a movie just because others like it. I have to like it too. You won't find any existentialism or fodder for the masses to digest mentally in this one but you will get one hell of a thrill ride that never stops. It's a guilty pleasure for the fact that most go with the pack. Are you guilty of liking something others berate? If this showed up on t.v. I'd be all over it. Has it ever? I don't think so.

Guest Commentator HARVEST OF SORROW says: "I thought this movie was trapped in hell. Apparently it doesn't want to stay there!"
